I just want to know when it became fashionable to wear a HUBCAP on the side of your head? Some of those hats looked rediculous.
And Fergie's daughters looked so uncomfortable and out of place.

Sheldonrs 04-29-2011 08:55 AM

And just as a side note, I would bang Kate's brother like a chinese gong! ;)

Sheldon, I'm surprised at you.

Everyone knows that the more outlandish the hat, the more class you have! QED.

did you get a load of Mrs. Beckham's head gear? tooooooooo good.

Mrs. Beckham's face was frozen in time. God forbid a crease should spoil her make-up. She was deliberately trying not to smile...at a WEDDING for Christ Sake!

Pouty Spice.

Didn't like Victoria's hat. Loved her dress tho - tres chic. La Beckham knows how to dress.

Shame her hubby wore his OBE on the wrong side though... MAJOR faux pas.
Still, he's handsome enough to excuse.

I'm never sure about hats.
Philip Treacy is a world renowned hat maker.
I look at most of them and think, "It's a joke, right? Some meme I just don't get?"
But then I have no class.

Re James Middleton. Mum said he looked like a gyppo (extremely perjorative term for a traveller). No wonder I have no class.

I would have watched the satirical comedy coverage by The Chaser (1) but those goddamn Windsors leaned on the BBC and got all non-oficial uses of the footage banned. So I'm boycotting the lot.

(1) The Chaser: Aussie comedians, the ones who "infiltrated" the Sydney APEC summit in a fake motorcade with a dude dressed up as Osama. Those ones.

Zen, did you watch this? Not quite the whole Chaser :( but 1/5 of them has to be better than nothing. Personally, I think Andrew Hanson should have been asked to compose the soundtrack for the occasion.

AND what is with Chris Taylor doing Australian history mini-docos?

I reckon. I don't think I have ever seen Victoria Beckham smile. If her husband can smile, why can't she?

Big Sarge 04-29-2011 12:23 PM

Because Victoria is an automaton

infinite monkey 04-29-2011 12:36 PM

Being married to him wouldn't make me smile either.

Poor rich little couple.

Rhianne 04-29-2011 01:35 PM

Does anyone know when this wedding is actually due to happen?

Honestly, you'd think they would put something on TV...

Sundae 04-29-2011 01:41 PM

I like Victoria Beckham.
She's done a hell of a lot with what she was born with.

She grew up not smiling because she was embarrassed about her teeth.
So the pouty thing is unfair, it was learned behaviour.

I'd go out for a drink with her (as long as it was private enough that she could be herself). She has a good sense of humour in interviews where journos actually talk to her rather than just record soundbites.

Ali G interview for example.
