Wolf, are you good at crocheting and/or knitting?

My gf can only make granny squares right now and would like to learn how to make tubes (for mittens) and other such things.

Can you help her someday?

Since she alreadly knows how to do granny squares, she should catch on to the rest pretty quickly.

Crocheting is one of my favorite crafts ... I would be more than happy to help out. Knitting I can do, but prefer to avoid. I have a blanket I've been knitting for the last thirteen years (no exaggeration, but I may have underestimated the length of time I've been working on it. I take it out of the closet every couple years, do about two pattern repeats (8 rows) and realize "you know, I really hate knitting."

(A crocheted blanket of equivalent size takes me about two weeks, max. I can do a baby blanket in a weekend, if I don't have anything else to do)

I also have a great crocheted mitten pattern I'd be happy to share with her.

Ideal job no. 1: Rock star. I still nurse that fantasy, 7 years after the demise of Sycamore (the band).

Ideal job no. 2: Writer (either print columns or poetry). If I really put myself in the zone, I could write forever...

Ideal job no. 3: Consultant. Help companies maximize their customer service departments. Too many companies do a shitty job with their CS departments. I should know...I did 10 years of that shit from grunt cashier to helping run the no. 1 (in terms of sales) CVS store.

I want Tom Dickson's job on will it blend.
