Well, its just one of those things that I grew up being taught to take personal responsibility for EVERYTHING, especially for how I act. I know these are not the type of things my parents meant to instill in me were my fault, especially since my mom went through the same damn thing, so on an intellectual level I know I can't help being a tad crazy right now, but on a Catholic guilt level, I FEEL like its my fault. I grew up Methodist, but I'm pretty sure that this is what 'they' must be talking about when they talk about Catholic guilt.

The more you go through life, mpt, the more you realize the fallibility that exists in human nature. We really cant be perfect or act perfectly all the time. Owning up to it is just about the best you can do once it happens. Then let go of the guilt.
