I like 'em ;p

I likethem fresh, but I prefer tinned lychees. They're very much a childhood taste for me.

I've had lychee in Vietnamese restaurants, although I remember them being called "long-ahn," or is that a different fruit?

I adore lychees, but they are SO expensive.
One of my colleagues started buying them by the box from a local market trader, but by the time payday came around they were out of season.
I will have to get in with her next year - we could get a better price for 2 boxes a week.

I can eat them until I make myself unwell (not that that is an aim!) and there are very few fruits I can say that about.

They just need googly eyes.

But won't those pass through intact? Like sweetcorn?
Could give me a bit of a wobble if I forget.

They're too cute to eat.

And too expensive ;)

Lychee and longans are two different fruits although they may seem similar without their skins. I personally like longans better. But heck, they're both expensive. I'll eat whatever someone gives me. :D Anyways, I left some rambutans left for my sister, and she forgot to eat them. She just dragged them out of the fridge. They look even scarier now, so I thought I'd share with y'all. By the way, these fruits taste fine from the can if y'all want to see how they taste like. I buy the can ones to make fruit cocktails. Very yummy. :)
