What inconsistency?
I posted a topless pic in an otherwise SFW thread. I gave the post a NSFW heading.
Infi pointed out to me that having a warning there was too late if you were clicking from New Posts so I moved that particular post to a NSFW thread.
Why? Because she was right.

I don't know who is being inconsistent in requesting images NSFW are in threads where you knw what to expect, but it's not Infi.
And Glatt is fair and balanced. As a mod anyway, he might be a despot away from here...

NSFW has come to mean "nudity or shock value" to me, as I haven't accessed the internet from work for a while. I think it's reasonable to remind people that it really does mean Not Suitable (Safe) For Work. And err on the side of caution.

Again - I believe I was the offending party this time. It is/was MY fault and I apologized.

No one was being singled out. I was talking about pictures in "funny images" or "motivationals" or some other ones I can't think of right now. It's been more and more frequent, as of late, and I thought a reminder was in order.

Labeling the POST NSFW is ineffective, as Sundae said: if you are going in through new posts it's too late.

So anyone who wants to feel singled out you go right ahead, but that isn't it at all. Just understand that I don't want my cow orkers to walk by when a giant picture of a daisy duke with big titties poking out her tight t-shirt pops on my screen when all I wanted to see was the latest motivational poster. You know, like a cheezburger cat saying "imma hang in there" or something.

"Get a load of the big tits on this broad...more than a mouthful better than a dickful" maybe needs a Dubious For Work classification. ;)

I think it was me, with my posting of Sarge's ass whistling, which was deleted by Glatt, which I've already posted that I have no problem with.

The inconsistency I spoke of, and have been speaking of, doesn't really matter, to anyone, not even me anymore. I shoulda just kept my mouth shut. I would explain it, but it's old and tiresome, and there's a history of any point I try to make being misconstrued as me telling people how to think, or my point gets lost completely.

Also, infinite monkey did not figure into this in any way shape form or fashion.

But my point about the pictures seemed sensible and non-accusatory. It just followed from the butt removal and was something I had had on my mind, way before the butt. :lol:

I get that, and I understand.

My Opinion
I do think some Dwellars are bitchy (and that does not just apply to the female of the species)
And some attack on the slightest provocation.
Others will have your back until you hit on a certain topic
Some you would like to fade away.

All of the above can change places in your opinion depending on thread or topic.
I honestly do not believe there is a collective, a clique or a Treehouse Club in the Cellar.

Some Dwellars have been bloody rude to me but no-one seems to have noticed. It's ouch. It's life.
Sometimes they've been out of order and people have pointed it out.
Many have challenged my opinion in many different ways and every word they've used has been justified.
Even if I wouldn't admit it at the time.
Being rude, high-hamded or sarcastic doesn't necessarily mean you are wrong.

I'm pretty nondescript as a Dwellar, but maybe even I have trodden on some toes. I'm probably more likely to offend by just being me than by my actual posts (excepting this wishy-washy one which is me in a nutshell)

Honestly, I deleted it because I didn't want to see it, and I thought to myself "Hey, I'm at work, and if my boss saw me looking at some guy's butt, it would be awkward." I rechecked the top to the thread to make sure I hadn't accidentally opened a NSFW marked thread, and saw it wasn't marked, so I deleted it.

I wasn't offended or mad at anyone, and I felt bad for grav because it was pretty funny. He had put these little music symbols coming out of (I think Big Sarge's) butt.

But I figured if I didn't want to see it at work, other people wouldn't either. Nobody contacted me. Nobody flagged it. It was all me.
