My younger daughter always matches with the actress from Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. I can see it actually, we should do that genetic testing for heritage. There must be some Ghengis Khan in us.

I may have missed the gist of the OP. I picked women who not only had the vaguest resemblence (white, dark-haired female) I picked those who could most encompass my 'self' and my nuances. Who can truly give the audience a glimpse into the enigma that is me.

Really, I just picked dark haired actresses who I like. ;)

And by the by...Brianna didn't even pick one for herself. I'm thinking Teri Garr.

Some documentary once claimed that 1 out of 200 people alive today can trace their lineage to Ghengis Khan.

The guy fathered more children than alcohol...

I think the number is MUCH higher than that.

In some parts of central Asia up to 14% of the population are direct MALE-LINE descendants, (as shown by certain features on the Y-chromosome). That is male-male-male-male only through the centuries. When you allow for the male-female variations, probably like 80 or 90 % can trace back to him in those central Asian regions. World wide, I'd say 5 to 10 pecent would be a low estimate.

He had lots of sons, they became kings and prices and lords and so had lots of sons, who became kings and princes and lords ... repeat cycle.

He may have had plenty of sons... but it's his daughters that did the birthing!
