I agree.
A TA who left us this year was one of our First Aiders. She could handle any amount of bodily fluids, mis-shapen limbs (she dealt with a broken wrist before my time) large missing peices of skin and gouges.

She couldn't cope with eyes though.
I'm not talking about orbital blowouts, I mean simply putting in eyedrops or checking for foreign bodies.

Long term staff knew this, noobs like me learned it quickly.
Those us us with no eye-issues always stepped up to the plate.
She was a kind and implacable First Aider and we do miss her.

ETA - she left us because she was moving to another part of the country. Not because she witnessed eye proptosis.
