2:00 PM - leftover beef stir fry, 2 pears, maybe 4 almond cookies, and several swigs of chocolate almond milk.
Today is one of those days I keep forgetting to eat because there are too many other things on the schedule. Right now I'm trying to decide what else I can cram in before I go pick up Minifob from Tae Kwon Do. Maybe more pears--I ordered a 20 pound box from our produce co-op, and whatever I don't eat soon, I'll have to peel and core for the freezer, so the more I eat the less work I'll have in a few days. |
6:30 PM - Lentil chips, salsa, and a small chunk of gouda.
|
9:00 PM - chicken enchiladas on corn tortillas with queso, salsa verde, guacamole, black beans, mexican rice, tortilla chips, and jalapeno ranch. (This was all from the TexMex restaurant down the street from us; I was planning to cook something but then I crashed hard in the early evening and Mr. Clod went out and brought me food instead.)
7:30 AM - banana, goat yogurt, honey |
11:30 PM - 2 pears, leftover gouda mashed potatoes, 2 slices of leftover ham, french dressing.
5:00 PM - An avocado, french dressing |
8:30 PM - pork chops, sauteed pears, peas, and a shallot/pear/cream sauce.
7:30 AM - banana, goat yogurt, honey 11:30 AM - leftover beef stir fry, chocolate almond milk, 2 dill pickle spears 5:00 PM - a couple of coconut macaroons, rice chips, salsa, more chocolate almond milk |
8:30 PM - chalupas (corn tostadas, ground beef, tomatos, lettuce, guacamole), tortilla chips, salsa
7:30 AM - banana, goat yogurt, honey 12:00 PM - coconut Larabar 1:00 PM - big bowl of pinto beans, avocado, salsa |
5:30 PM - handful of potato chips, mustard. (Yes. It's a habit I picked up as a teenager, and it's still awesome.)
6:00 - a pear. Mr. Clod is out tonight with a group of special needs dads who get together once a month, so I already know that dinner is going to be miscellaneous crap. It's hard enough to bother cooking when there's someone else who needs to eat; when it's just me it really ain't happening. |
Do you dip the chips in mustard?
I'm trying to picture that, and imagine it's kind of like salt and vinegar chips, which are really good. If I remember, I may try that the next time I have chips. We don't have chips very often though. |
Yep, just like ketchup on fries, except it's mustard and potato chips. It is a lot like the salt & vinegar flavor, but way better.
|
8:00 PM - Banana, goat yogurt, honey, rice chex, blueberries, almond milk. Apparently last night was "breakfast for dinner" night.
7:00 AM - banana, goat yogurt, honey. |
11:00 - two failed coconut muffins (attempted making them with an egg substitute because both kids are allergic, but the result was too soft. Still tasted good, but you have to eat them with a fork.)
12:00 - sandwich: roast beef, mayo, Dijon, tomato, and Wickles pickles. Also the last of the chocolate almond milk. 4:00 - a pear 8:00 - Eggs Benedict, cantaloupe. |
I'm a mustard dipper, fries mostly, but I can totally see chips improved this way too.

This thread title makes me think of Bob Loblaw's Law Blog.
