Meat Loaf, aka Marvin Lee O'Day, but...

Of whom does he remind you?

Attachment 43747

*I think he looks just like Chris Farley in this pic.*

Mr. Loaf is looking rather a lot like Jerry Falwell to me. But I just got up, and haven't finished my first coffee.

Also like Chris Farley's motivational speaker.

He looks like he's mad as hell and he isn't going to take it anymore.

Clodfobble 08-06-2015 02:02 PM

Ha! I had a tingle of familiarity while watching the show, but hadn't put 2 and 2 together to figure out where I recognized that look from. Nice catch, Grav!

This is Ben Murphy, of "Alias Smith and Jones" fame, and today is his birthday.

Happy 74th, Ben!

Alias Smith & Jones was one of my favourite series.

Somewhere here, I have the DVD box set but Heaven knows when I shall have the opportunity to actually watch any of it.

I just hope that I'm not disappointed. Some things are never as good as you remember them.

But Happy Birthday, Ben!

Phwoar! I was very partial to Ben Murphy. Alias Smith and Jones was screened opposite Panorama (a news/current affairs documentary programme) back In the day, which my dad would start watching and then invariably fall asleep. Once he was snoring I'd sneak up to the telly and very quietly turn it over to ASAJ. He always woke up, declared that he'd been watching Panorama and made me switch it back. :/
