I listened to the whole thing, the bottom one. I have known the story of the two young fish, and the man who meets an Eskimo for many years. About 20 to be exact. Most of us are looking for something, some meaning, something beyond ourselves. The story of the fish illustrates that many times what we are looking for we are looking with, that what we are looking for we exist in and cannot be separated from. I like the story of the Eskimo too. You see, you don't understand, it was just an Eskimo nothing supernatural. The answer really is to raise your glass, toast the man's good health and tell him I am glad he made it back. Lucky those Eskimos came along.

I agree with Jim too. In my book meditation amounts to PAYING ATTENTION. Paying attention to something besides the endless fantasy of monologue going on in my head. Paying attention to the feel of the keys on the keyboard, hey the J and F keys have little raised bits. Paying attention to the tilt and slant of the shades on the window on the left, right now. Paying attention to my breathing. Paying attention enough to see that we are living in the water, that actually we are living in the atmosphere, we breath it in and the molecules of oxygen permeate to the smallest cell in our body. What sustains us, we are a part of. Inseparable from. For me, the mystical stuff is true. That is exactly where the Eskimo came from.

I have conversations about these things all the time, and other people I meet tell me all the time how droll and nice these ideas are. Interesting theories that are nice to talk about and discuss, but you see, I don't really understand. It was just an Eskimo. I raise my glass to you good sir and am glad you made it this far. Glad that Eskimo came along and made it possible for us to have this time together.

Goddamn, man, I've been telling everybody who will listen about this video. This kind of thing strikes a chord.

Have you all seen the documentary 'Happy'? It's on Netflix, look it up.
