Wait, don't the Aussies use something more than 110-120 volts?

Aliantha 01-25-2014 05:04 PM

240

The heater draws 25 amps.

Big Sarge 01-25-2014 06:21 PM

How much life insurance do they have on you?

footfootfoot 01-25-2014 06:47 PM

25 amps will kick your ass.

Not being familiar with the unit, it does sound like a major design flaw. Would you be able to shut off the power, wrap the bare wires with electrician's tape so that next time you have to go in live, they exposed connections are covered?

Aliantha 01-25-2014 08:38 PM

Foot, i really just need to keep my hand on the screwdriver handle. Taping it would probably just give me a false sense of security. Its pretty messy in there. Lots of copper tubing etc, which is all live.

Aliantha 01-25-2014 08:40 PM

None on me sarge. Plenty on dazza though. Maybe i will show him how to do it. lol

"Here honey, just hold it right there."

No?

sexobon 01-25-2014 08:43 PM

Maybe you can get your medical insurance to pay you for home ECT treatments.

Aliantha 01-25-2014 08:53 PM

Yeah. Shock the crazy out of me.

I like that crazy just where it is.

(better than setting it free to wander the streets, right?)

orthodoc 01-25-2014 11:51 PM

Maybe put the spa on eBay ... ?

Sorry to have assumed so much, Ali, I was just thinking of things that helped me cope with four teenagers in the house plus a husband who wasn't into housework, yard care, or kid schedules. I'm glad you're doing okay.

Aliantha 01-26-2014 01:48 AM

You're fine ortho. Thanks for caring enough to take the time. Xxx

Isn't supposed to be that way? That's the problem with today's society. Women just don't know their place. At least that is the way Gravdigr explained it to me

Clodfobble 01-26-2014 10:22 AM

In fairness, in "yesterday's society" those pesky children would be out tilling in the fields, or working in the factories, by the time they were 8 or 9. Wouldn't be nearly so tough if we could still send them off for hard labor before they hit their teens...

Hey Sarge! Come here, big guy! Let me make you a sammich, give you a foot massage, and do your laundry. ;) :D
