From 1990 - Drop The Dead Donkey a sitcom set behind the scenes of a newsroom.

I fucking loved this show! As an 18 year old, just starting to get a senseof politics and news, this really hit the spot. Bit dated now, but some of it stands up:

Anybody remember 'Dave Allen At Large'? One of the Nashville tv stations used to show reruns of Dave late at night back when I was a kid.

Skip to 2:00 for what made the show worth watching, for me, anyway.

Oh, I used to Love Dave Allen!

His show was one that my whole family watched together, when I was little.

I also enjoyed old Dave.
My favorites were I Love Lucy, Happy Days, Laverne and Shirley, Emergency One, Adam 12, and various children's cartoons, mostly Merrie Melodies and Looney Tunes. The Honeymooners were a later addition, as was Ed Sullivan. In my later preteen years, I also added Hollywood Squares.

I just watched Mannix, on MeTV.

Yes Minister / Prime Minister.

Huge education on how politics really works, still very applicable today and even with US politics.

Allegedly Thatchers favorite TV show.

Still one of my favorites "You might say that, but I couldn't possibly comment"
