The margin for McConnell in the Senate to get Trump's SCOTUS nominee appointed is narrowing. There are 53 Republican Senators and two of them, Collins of Maine and Murkowski of Alaska, have indicated that they will not vote to seat a new justice before the election.

That leaves 51 Senators for McConnell. It's possible, even likely, that Romney of Utah will not vote to confirm a new justice in this circumstance, bringing the total to 50. As we all know, Pence is the President of the Senate. In the case of a tie, he is permitted to vote.

What other Senators will put country before party / defect (depending on the color of your bubble)?

I heard that President Trump is going to nominate ‎Kim Kardashian to SCOTUS to win over supporters of POTUS candidate Kanye West.

May the better half win.

So a man with no sense or value gets to choose a replacement for a woman with a surplus of both.
Backed up by a Senate with a majority of butteads with a fitting leader.

So, not Romney.

Sen. Mitt Romney said he would support a floor vote on President Donald Trump’s Supreme Court, essentially clinching consideration of Trump’s nominee this year despite the impending election.

Before the election. IE, Collins doesn't want to vote in an anti-choice justice until it's too late for her voters to do anything about it, either way.
