As I thought about this a little more, what bothers me is the requirement of the permit, which is issued by the guy at the post office and he has the authority to grant or deny the permit - it would be interesting to see what his guidelines were.
Unfortunately, given the way our government is - you might be fighting an up hill battle, but I wish you the best in defending what you think is right. |
But it's not really "our government". The Post Office is independent like the Federal Reserve. ;)

Which brings up an interesting point.
If the USPS is an independant government contractor, is the land government's land or private land belonging to the contractor? |
It's federal land. The guy who told me to leave even said so.

OK then.
By the way, I'm REALLY interested to hear the response to the question about what your arrest does for your wife's immigration. Is this going to effect it at all? Would it have effected it if she hadn't had her interview yet? |

I don't think it will change anything with my wife's situation. Her interview at the U.S. Consulate is in 1 week. My court date isn't until May 13th.

Radar was just jealous of the woman who got arrested in the movie theater parking lot.
|
Martin Luther King Jr. was arrested for peacefully protesting too. Why not use him as an example? :P
