my two cats are strictly indoor cats, all the time. They've been outside, by accident, only a couple times in their lives. their lifetime kill count is zero between them.

Cats aren't exactly the new fad in pets, they are part of the urban ecosystem.

No they're not new, but ever since those damn Egyptians elevated them to worship worthy, they've been impossible. I'd bet most cats living in urban environments never go outside to affect the ecosystem. In the burbs they do, and rural areas where there's a big feral population, most definitely.
But at least they don't fly over and poop on me. :haha:
