WEEK 3 DAY 3, 4

Okay, I missed Tuesday so I decided Wednesday to be day 2 and have a 6 day week. Unfortunately, on Thursday, my day 3, I was busy from the time I opened my eyes until the time I went to bed. No exercise then. Today, I woke up late and only managed a 30 mins jog because I ran out of time. Oh yeah, and we had no electricity all day. When I stepped out for my jog this morning, there was a big KABOOM! The electricians came out and the repair took longer than anyone expected. They finally fixed it by 8:30PM with us cheering on the ground. :D Was so doggone hot. Not sure how I'm gonna adjust my workout for the rest of the week. I'm gonna think about it before going to bed.

Y'all know the song Unwell by Matchbox Twenty? That's me at the moment. I've been on edge, restless, and impatient all month long. It's like I'm having a freakin' PMS, and it hasn't been pleasant for my family. If I get anymore mental stress, I don't know what's gonna happen. Hmm...I'll talk about coffee and cigarettes later. I hear my system groaning loudly. Have to shut down and open to see what's going on. If my computer dies, I will get extreme mental stress. :thepain:

WEEK 3 DAY 5

I jogged for 30 mins. Since I missed the arms & shoulder and leg exercises, I decided to do the Jackie Warner Timesaver Exercise, which works the whole body. I will be back on track next week. :)

Lola Bunny 06-19-2011 12:07 PM

WEEK 3 DAY 6

A cramp on my calf woke me up this morning, so I decided to do the P90X stretch only.

Lola Bunny 06-20-2011 11:47 PM

WEEK 4 DAY 1

I lack tact, have never been very PC, and my bluntness have offended more people than I realized so I'm just gonna say it. I got my period and strenuous exercise give me cramps when the flow is heavy. Therefore, all I did was walked for 1 hour this morning and 50 mins this afternoon.

glatt 06-21-2011 07:34 AM

2 hours of walking is pretty good! It's more exercise than most people get.

Thanks. It's just that because I'm on the P90X program, I feel guilty for walking and not doing its exercises instead.

WEEK 4 DAY 2

Well, another guilty-feeling day. I walked for 50 mins in the morning. Because my feet were starting to hurt so I stopped early. Walking sure does stress the feet out! In the afternoon, I did some abs exercises then walked for an hour. I intended to walk only 30 mins but my feet felt fine so I continued to do so for an hour. And now, the weigh in. I felt so bloated and lousy yesterday I forgot about it. The numbers don't look good. :( I gained, both in weight and inches. Sniff....:sniff:

weight: 101.2 lbs.
waist: 28
hip: 33 1/2
thigh: 20 1/2

Lola Bunny 06-22-2011 09:07 PM

WEEK 4 DAY 3

Jogged for 30 mins then did shoulder and arm workout. This afternoon, I walked for 30 mins. then did ab ripper. By the way, I've decided to switch from the lean program to the regular one so I'm adding two weeks into phase 1.

Lola Bunny 06-23-2011 08:54 PM

WEEK 4 DAY 4

My body felt really heavy this morning when I started out my jog. I just wasn't feeling it. I managed 20 mins. and when I had to stop to answer someone who asked me a question, I could not motivate myself to push anymore. I decided to walk another 10 mins. but it started to drizzle so I used that as an excuse to go home. It was yoga day. I simply felt too restless today. I stopped after 30 mins of yoga. This afternoon, I decided to not walk because I had felt tired all day. I made an excuse that my body needed to rest. I was gonna go to bed early tonight to work hard again tomorrow but now I have to head out. Hopefully I won't come home too late. :(

Lola Bunny 06-24-2011 09:15 PM

WEEK 4 DAY 5

Thanks, Sexobon! I didn't get it when Sheldon said the first line to me. :p: It just hit me now that it's a song so I looked it up. I like it. :D Btw, I listened to the Sarah Vaughan's version.

Lola Bunny 06-25-2011 09:01 PM

WEEK 4 DAY 6

Jogged for 20 mins. and did Ab ripper, and that's all I did today. sigh....hangs my head in shame.

Lola Bunny 06-26-2011 09:15 PM

WEEK 4 DAY 7

I did nothing, zilch, nada, rien. I actually have a legit reason but anything said would just be an excuse so I won't even try.

I said I would reply to this but forgot. I know perhaps you're just joking around but actually, this did make me lose 3 inches off my waist in one month's time once. But now, if I smoke more cigarettes than what I'm doing now, I would have a heart attack. And I'm actually starting to drink more coffee. I've been so sleepy and if not sleepy, tired. I've been drinking espresso just to get through the day.

footfootfoot 06-27-2011 12:34 AM

espresso actually has less caffeine than regular coffee. It is just a darker roast. Roasting reduces caffeine.

Lola Bunny 06-27-2011 10:37 AM

Really? Pity, I like my coffee dark. That's why I drink espresso. I'll make my afternoon drink coffee then. :)

Me too, that's why I mentioned it. I went from 115 to 95 in one month because of that diet. Not on purpose, of course. I would never do it again though...I have since quit smoking and will never go back.

Lola Bunny 06-27-2011 08:29 PM

WEEK 5 DAY 1

Jogged for 20 mins and did core synergistics.

Lola Bunny 06-29-2011 02:11 AM

WEEK 5 DAY 2

Did plyometrics and ab ripper.

Weigh in day:

weight: 101 lbs.
waist: 28
hip: 33 1/2
thigh: 20 1/2

This morning my sister commented that I must be really motivated to keep on exercising like this. I said, "Why? Cuz I'm not losing anything?" She said, "Yeeahhh." Oh well....I'm committed, I'm not gonna give up.

monster 06-29-2011 09:16 AM

you lost a .2 of a lb! percentagewise that's probably more than I've lost  Keep going Bunny-lo

Lola Bunny 06-29-2011 11:04 PM

WEEK 5 DAY 3

Woke up late, early sermon to go to, so I didn't have a chance to exercise. Later in the evening, was talking to a friend, and I was whining about how discouraging it is that I'm not losing anything despite how hard I work. To keep a long story short, she got worked up about exercising, invited me to workout with her. What has I got to lose? It was my shoulder and arm and ab ripper day that I missed, and my friend put in a dvd that worked our shoulders, back, and abs. Perfect! And by working out with her, I found out I could life heavier weights. I've been too indulgent. :p: Anyways, gonna take a shower and hit the bed. Really have to wake up early to work out everything I want cuz my sis's getting on my case about doing too much and getting tired so I would need naps. Whateva! She got on my case after two days. I haven't been napping since.

Yups, and you can't be lazy cuz you promised someone to be there. The only problem is to find someone whom you can coordinate your schedule with.

monster 06-30-2011 08:48 PM

I found me a workout buddy last year -she was a slave driver. then she promptly got a more than fulltime job. fuckers let you down....

Thanks, Infinite. I've been feeling very discouraged. :sniff:

infinite monkey 07-07-2011 07:28 AM

Hey, whatever Lola wants, Lola gets.

So get on out there and get it! I'm counting on you for inspiration.

Seriously, I'm sure there are ebbs and tides in an exercise regime. If you get discouraged you might quit altogether (or maybe that's just my personality.) ;)

Just keep going.

monster 07-07-2011 10:15 AM

Is there a different exercise you could do instead of jogging, just to refresh your enthusiasm? Or is that the bit you enjoy?

Lola Bunny 07-07-2011 10:24 PM

WEEK 6 DAY 4

Jogged 30 mins and did ab ripper.

Infinite and Monster, I'll reply to you guys another day. I'm feeling a bit off today, sorry. :(

WEEK 6 DAY 7

Hmm....jogged and walked...uh....30 mins? I don't remember, it's something like that. :p: Okay, I think my body has revitalized some, although my ankle is hurting now, and rebooted my spirit...(not really, but I don't believe in moping around). :p: I will be cheerful by tomorrow. Hope everyone had a great weekend! :D

WEEK 7 DAY 2

Plyometrics

Thanks Monster, Infinite, and Classic for reading my thread and encouraging me. I was going to respond to y'all but I just found out my uncle may die anytime. He had a stroke two days ago and had shown signs of improvement. But now, he's bleeding in the brain, and the doctor doesn't think it looks good. He's living in Vietnam, and I don't know how good the doctors are over there. He's the only one of my mom's sibling who's a very good and decent person. That's not easy for anyone living with the communist for 30 something years. The commie corrupt everyone. Anyways, a bit sad so I'm going to bed.

Undertoad 07-12-2011 11:40 PM

Ugh.

The very best wishes to your uncle, and to all good and decent people everywhere.

Griff 07-13-2011 05:29 AM

I'm sorry to hear about your Uncle. We need to focus more on the good and decent.

classicman 07-13-2011 08:32 AM

I am sorry about your Uncle. My best to all involved.

monster 07-13-2011 10:06 AM

Sorry to hear that, Bunny.

Lola Bunny 07-14-2011 11:55 PM

First, I want everyone for your kind words. My cousins moved my uncle into Saigon and admitted into a hospital that specializes the brain. He had one surgery and awaiting on the second one.

WEEK 7 DAY 3

Back & biceps and ab ripper.

WEEK 7 DAY 4

15 mins of jog and yoga

I decided to do weigh in at the beginning of a new phase rather than every 2 weeks like before because I show no change. Here are my numbers from Tuesday:

weight: 100.8 lbs.
waist: 28
hip: 33
thigh: 20 1/4

To answer Infinite: I was discouraged, and that is why I exercised less. I would quit altogether except it would be too embarrassing to do that after I hijacked Perry Winkle's thread and announced that I'll be doing the program. But by slacking, I'm less tired and feel stronger. I think I overworked my body. :p: I am over that obstacle. :D

To answer Monster: I do enjoy jogging. It's the part where I get out of the 4 walls, away from home, and my complaining, nagging family and have time for myself. I think if I don't have that time, I would go nuts. But sadly, I have to cut down on my jogging these days. My ankle was starting to hurt. Then my left heel hurt, then both heels hurt. So yeah, I'm reducing that. But the reason why I hardly jogged this past week is because I can't seem to wake up at 5:30 anymore. I just want to sleep. :p: My heart has been feeling better. I don't wake up in the middle of the night anymore. I don't get anxiety dreams. So, sleep is nice. :D

To Classicman:

Oh yeah, just want to let y'all know. Although the numbers are a bit discouraging, I've been told that both my body and face look slimmer. Someone commented that my stomach doesn't bulge out anymore. My sister thinks I look thinner too. So, I won't be giving up anytime soon. :D

ZenGum 07-15-2011 01:18 AM

Run, Lola, run!

Mercenary: Thanks. As for the hot pix, I can do that now. Not sure how y'all would feel about pix of my hot and sweaty self though. It's rather gross really since I perspire easily. :yelsick:

Lola Bunny 07-17-2011 11:15 PM

WEEK 7 DAY 6

I jogged perhaps for 15 mins or so when my mp3 ran out of battery so I stopped. I forgot to press my stopwatch so I tell how long I've ran. I then speed walked. I saw a friend so I walked with her for a long while. Was supposed to go home and do kenpo I remembered my sister had started complaining before I left, so I decided to stay out. :D I stayed moving for about 1 1/2 hour.

WEEK 7 DAY 7

I slept in. :D I went to a kid's birthday party and there was an inflatable bouncer there. Played in it for about 30 mins, I think. :p:

Bouncy exercise is always the most fun :D

 We're used to the heat. Besides, I jog early in the morning, like 6:30AM or so. I used to jog around 6 when I could wake up at 5:30. It's still joggable even by 7AM. Hmm...this morning was like 80 degrees, not bad at all. I sometimes see people jogging in the afternoon. :3_eyes: Now, that's crazy.

Clodfobble 07-21-2011 05:42 PM

80 degrees at 7 AM might be generous. My digital thermometer usually says about 80 when I get up at 5:30...

Lola Bunny 07-21-2011 06:15 PM

WEEK 8 DAY 4

Jogged 25 mins and did yoga.

That one day that I looked, it was about 80 degrees at 6:30AM when I left my place. Don't know exactly what the temperature would be at 7AM. Dang woman, you wake up at 5:30? What time you go to bed? Thought I was good for waking at up 6:00, but now I feel like a slacker. :p:

Clodfobble 07-21-2011 07:12 PM

Only when I have to. Minifobette has been waking up at 6:00 recently, and with Anatomy class starting at 8, I had to make sure to take a shower before she woke up or I wouldn't get one. Now I'm down to only afternoon classes, so I shower after the kids are out the door.

I don't go to bed nearly as early as I should, and it's been taking its toll.
