Meanwhile in New Hampshire...

Aliantha 06-20-2016 09:41 PM

She's dumb, and her followers are dumber. Redneck brainless fucks who will hopefully keep inbreeding till they become sterile and rid the world of themselves.

Aliantha 06-20-2016 09:48 PM

I should also add that I am so disappointed that people are buying into the no refugee argument and stopping the boats (that's how most of our refugees arrive - as you can probably imagine if you have half a brain) and looking after Australians first etc. Same bullshit your right wing idiots sprout over there and everywhere else in the world.

Australia has been condemned by every international humanitarian body over the last few years for our vicious policies associated with refugees and illegal immigrants, and I am ashamed that our politicians continue to allow it to happen, but it seems there are more selfish bitter arseholes in this world wanting a hand out than there are people who actually give a shit about children being raped and molested in refugee camps, all at the pleasure of our politicians.

Australia is a country that can help its own citizens if they care to ask for it. We have a pretty good social services system which is available to every citizen whether they pay tax or not. The real issue is the breakdown of the family unit and loss of trust in our neighbours, which is constantly eaten away at by stupid slogans, biased media reporting and a right wing government who only benefits the wealthy and financially independent.

Gravdigr 06-21-2016 01:22 PM

Then run for office and change it.

Aliantha 06-21-2016 05:17 PM

I have been thinking about it.

xoxoxoBruce 06-21-2016 09:43 PM

Oh Noes, another Maggie Thatcher! :lol2:

obdiifactory 06-22-2016 02:07 AM

I have been thinking about it.

fargon 06-22-2016 08:05 AM

Except I think that Ali is smarter.

xoxoxoBruce 06-22-2016 12:46 PM

Yes, but that's a handicap for a politician. ;)

Aliantha 06-22-2016 10:34 PM

I'm not sure if I could put up with the bullshit associated with actually being in politics, but I think we need better options for our votes here. My husband has often thought about going into politics also, but I'm not sure if he will ever pursue that idea or not.

xoxoxoBruce 06-22-2016 10:58 PM

You could be the power behind the throne. :hide:

They're not the only ones, there are a number of dealers around the country who have done this.

I think I may have missed something. Was there a reconciliation, or is this a new husband? Or is this old news to everyone else and I'm just being a dingbat?

xoxoxoBruce 06-23-2016 11:12 PM

No your not, I didn't know if she was speaking of his political notions in the past tense, or referring to him as husband with current notions. I'm not even sure if they divorced or just separated.

Is it even relevant?

Clodfobble 06-24-2016 10:21 AM

To people who care about their friends, yes.

Aliantha 06-24-2016 08:25 PM

We are separated, so he's still my husband. We're not in any danger of reconciling at this point, but it is the end goal at some stage. There have been a lot of changes in attitudes over the last year or so, so we will just see what the future holds.

We're taking a family holiday with all of us (me him and all the kids) in a few weeks for a week. I'm sure the results of that will be telling. I'm hopeful that things will go well.

That's it in a nutshell. Obviously there's a lot more to the story, so Clod, don't feel bad. I stopped updating my thread that I started about my journey because I decided it was a bit precious and no one really wants to know all the bits and pieces. ;)

BigV 06-24-2016 09:52 PM

only the parts you want to share...

xoxoxoBruce 06-24-2016 11:41 PM

Yes, thanks for the update, that's more than enough to satisfy at least my curiosity about how you're doing. Hey, we care. :o

Ahh so she appeals to both teams.

Aliantha 06-26-2016 06:52 PM

No, she's not like Hillary at all Classic.

No, she doesn't appeal to both teams either.

She appeals to the same group of people who are attracted to Trump and his neo nazi attitudes towards immigration and closing borders. Much like the dumb group of people in the UK who voted to leave the EU because of misinformation about immigration policies and outcomes.

classicman 07-01-2016 08:57 PM

lol ORLY?

Perspective is a wonderful thing. Glad you enjoy yours.

Are you going to holiday in Orlando so he can come out of the closet?

Pamela 07-02-2016 09:31 PM

This is how to handle an active shooter at a nightclub. If only Pulse had had one or more people like this.

LGBT gun group membership spikes after Florida shooting

Memberships have more than doubled in a national LGBT pro-gun rights organization since a gunman opened fire at a gay nightclub in Florida, killing 49 people.

Pink Pistols Utah chapter President Matt Schlentz said Pink Pistols membership has grown from 1,500 to 4,000 since Omar Mateen's June 12 rampage, the Salt Lake Tribune reported (http://bit.ly/29p0eMI). ...
I think that's the group MaggieL has posted about being in. The rest of the article adds perspective.

Pamela 07-03-2016 08:47 PM

Yes, it is. IIRC, Maggie is quite fond of her Kel-Tec nine.

Seriously Dave, you're being a bit obnoxious lately.

Ummm...nope. Are you saying he's gay?

sexobon 07-04-2016 02:51 AM

Oh no, of course not, that would be ridiculous,...maybe he's bi!

tw 07-04-2016 11:31 AM

"... maybe he's bit" by what? A gay bug?

Compared to your reply? I think not.
