Nope, but you can see a small painting and teapot at the top right, both of which she painted. I draw the line at actually keeping pictures of my ex-wife on my desk, even if we *do* get along well.
I didn't know how you felt about "nailed to the wall". :)

Welcome hugo. I don't suppose that you have a complete copy of your farewell video, do you? The whole press conference, not just the last 2 minutes ...

But, Mr. Cat, where are the magical sparkles? I liked those best.

And, Hugo, quite a mess you made there during the press conference. Who cleaned up?

You can choose between the physicist or the physcist's construct. Sorry, ma'am, can't have 'em both. ;)

lumberjim 01-21-2005 07:11 PM

Bruce, you're too kind....thanks! :)

Ooops, I was referring to BRUCE. I know what LJ looks like--he's got his mug plastered all over the place. And I believe he once posted a photo of himself giving me the finger...such a charming fellow! ;)

wolf 02-03-2005 10:34 AM

Bruce's picture is also plastered all over.

Seek and ye shall find.

Beestie 02-03-2005 10:39 AM

Hmmmm.

Seems like we're missing a pic from someone. Who could it be?

Lookout is Michael Stipe!

elf 02-03-2005 11:21 AM

Here's waay too much information on Why Elf Hasn't Posted Pictures:

I need tech support.

Seriously.

There are some pictures of me on my computer at home. They do exist.

This computer that they are on is the one that has the software for downloading from my camera. This computer is not online. On this computer, there is a zip drive and a CDRom drive.

No other computer that I have access to has a zip drive. None.

Sooo. I try to install the download software for my camera on the hubby's computer, which has a writeable cd drive thingy, a 3.5" floppy drive, etc. It's not online either, but I figure I can download from the camera to his computer, save to disk, bring said disk in to work and upload. Easy, right?

No good. Software is not compatible with the OS he's running (Windows 2000NT, I think).

So I have him take the 3.5" floppy drive off his computer, and stick it in mine. Figure I'll get them off my computer that way, bring them to work and upload. Easy, Right?

Ohh, no. There's no place to put it. :bawling: The guy put my computer together went all weird and the way it's set up, another disk thing just simply won't fit.

So the Hubby will pick up a longer cable for the floppy drive and figure out some way to make it work.

 Ohhhh, maybe he can just hook it up long enough to save the pics to the disk? :smack: There's no reason the tower has to be all closed up, is there? :shocking:

Trilby 02-03-2005 11:48 AM

Yeah, what elf said.

dar512 02-03-2005 12:08 PM

Elf - Does your camera connect via usb? If so, try this.

Some digital cameras are recognized by the OS in 2000 and XP as USB external hard drives.
  • Don't bother to install the software.
  • Connect the camera to your husband's pc.
  • Turn the camera on.
  • Open up a Windows Explorer window (Windows key + E or double click on My Computer).
  • Look at the list of hard drives. Does it show an additional hard drive?
  • If so just copy the files from the new hard drive (actually your camera) to the hard drive of your husband's pc.
  • Open them in your favorite picture viewing software - irfanview is free and well thought of.
  • Resize it to a convenient viewing size. (Check that it is < 100k) If it is jpg and a reasonable size it should be.
  • Upload it to cellar (Look below the submit reply button. You should see a Manage Attachments button.)

elf 02-03-2005 01:21 PM

Dar.... I don't think mine works that way, but I'll check this evening. :)

wish i could see your teeth better........grumble...there seems to be a shadow......grumble......

all in all, much less dikey than i had imagined.....you're actually taller than you are wide. see, you should have posted it sooner.

lookout123 02-04-2005 10:10 AM

well, another chapter in the days of our cellar has concluded folks. Jim has seen Garnet, and she doesn't look dikey... soon they will be the bestest of friends.

Yes, I believe this is the nicest thing LJ has ever said to me. He certainly knows how to flatter a girl--I'm blushing!

xoxoxoBruce 02-04-2005 11:37 AM

Yeah, being a vegan, and living in the "south", if you're not taller than you are wide OR have most of your visible teeth, then your thoughts, ideas and opinions become moot.

wolf 02-05-2005 01:29 AM

Yeah, Garnet, now you've done it ... from now on all he's going to think of is your boobs.

cowhead 02-05-2005 02:59 AM

if you wanna see my smiling mug go to

I'm the really tall one w/ long hair in the back smoking with a slight smirk on my face

I still can't find Mr. Bruces photos--I need some guidance here, people. I must find out if all the rumors of pure unadulterated sexiness are true.

And Brianna, if they are true--he's MINE! ;)

404Error 02-05-2005 01:25 PM

Um, well there is this one. :D

Trilby 02-05-2005 04:53 PM

Garnet, I don't want to fight. Let's let Bruce decide.

wolf 02-05-2005 04:59 PM

He already has.

There can be only one!!

Undertoad 02-05-2005 05:10 PM

I can't believe that "only one" would be part of Bruce's decision.

I don't have that kind of hair now...I dyed a part of it pink, now with the black.

Beestie 02-05-2005 08:36 PM

Another in a series of hot Cellar womenfolk.

UT has proven to be quite the chick magnet.

:)

Schrodinger's Cat 02-05-2005 09:05 PM

Damn! I knew I should have posted that picture of Robert Redford! Oh, well...

xoxoxoBruce 02-05-2005 11:46 PM

Actually I love you all, ladies (let's see ladies...laddies, no, whew) now where was I? Oh, yes, but it seems to be unrequited because all I get is love bytes. :(

Trilby 02-06-2005 12:00 AM

Love bytes are better than the more annoying and less desirable "love scabies".

cowhead 02-09-2005 06:21 PM

love scabbies?.. oh dear Brianna.. I don't think I want to ask..

Well, I may not be into your meatless lifestyle and all, but damn, girl...there's no arguing with the physical benefits! You must have all the male alternative political types crawling after you, begging you to join them for a BocaBurger and a soy latte daily...

All right. I'm slightly concerned about someone recognising me, especially after all my more, er, emotional posts. Not forgetting that when I'm a famous international scholar/music producer/hitwoman it will no doubt be used against me.

jaguar 05-16-2005 09:36 AM

I'm assuming when it comes time to run for president I can either bribe UT to delete everything or organise an 'accident' involving explosives/lava/worlds biggest magnet at the colo.

Yo, girl. How's the whole Goth/punkish look going over out in the farmlands? Are you the talk of the "town" yet? ;)

kerosene 05-16-2005 02:15 PM

Wow, that actually made me laugh. Actually, I don't do that look anymore due to cost constraints. I can't afford to get hair dye every other week anymore. But I *am* the talk around here, I guess. I get a lot of funny looks for my piercing (a bar that goes through two parts at the top of my ear. Piercing guy had one and I thought it looked cool. He called it an "industrial".) They probably think it was a mishap with the cattle tagger.

No more goth/punk. Just a closet freak with my own seeeeecret laborrratory.

I don't get out much.
