It sure looks like the remote tie-off fails right at the end.

The AK sure does.

I knew a guy had a an AK that the sheet metal cover on the top rear of the receiver (the name of that part escapes me) would fly off occasionally. Not take-off-yer-head-fly-off, it would just decide to pop off, lightly, just enough to separate from the gun.

Scared the hell outta me every time it happened to me.
