Long Black Veil
On Top of Old Smoky

"For the leaves they will wither, the roots they will die.
We'll all be forsaken, and never know why."

Asshole is too much, anyone who has been on for long has had a bout' with the demon Net-Nanny. S-ok. You dealt with it with class. I honor you.
I like a lot of Trent's music, just wish he handled himself outside of the studio better. (I know things).

Use Me -- Bill Withers
Ain't No Sunshine -- Bill Withers
Lean On Me -- Bill Withers

This is not my original order, but they do flow this way, don't they?

Trent wrote a great song...he just didn't know that he wrote it for Johnny Cash.

JC's version of "Hurt" and the accompanying video are absolutely, hands down, the most emotional four minutes of music/video ever created. Superb, sublime...I get goosebumps just thinking about it.

tbh, I think Beestie hit the nail on the head....

"I've got a whole list but I think what everyone picks as their most emotional song has more to do with what (or who) they associate it with"

my list includes

Bobby Goldsboro - Honey
The Mindbenders - Groovey Kind of Love
Herb Alpert - Spanish Flea
Celine Dion- the Power of Love
The Commodores - Three Times a lady

yeah i know what you mean. hes not very charasmatic live either.

the only thing JC changed in hurt was the word (crown of) shit to the word (crown of) thorns. that just wasnt needed. if the old fart cant say the word shit then he doesnt deserve to sing NIN.

ive heard just enough trent bashing from you folks.
youve hurt my feelings now! i guess i can still feel.
