I run into that all the time. I learned great chunks of Shakespeare and can still recite with only minor prompts.

At least in the U.S., most schools are supposed to teach the same stuff, it's just a matter of whether or not the kids pay attention ... or at least it used to be. Our educational system has gotten so dumbed down to the lowest common denominator that I'm surprised people can still tie their own shoes.

Why not cake for breakfast, lunch and dinner? It has all the main food groups: flour, eggs, dairy, chocolate . . .
