This is my avatar on some sites. It's an Avatar brand bass speaker cabinet. So this is a self-referencing pun that nobody would get without explanation, which I like to pretend makes me secretly ironic and cool.

Of course, since it does no such thing, that makes it "as useful as tits on a bull", or, just as useful as every other avatar out there.

I'll take that as a compliment... and I have plenty already, thank you. Apple by preference, though I like orange and grapefruit as well.

It does make you ironic and cool! See, because the picture I posted earlier in the thread is a character named "The Avatar" from a show named the same thing. So we'll be ironic and cool together and the rest of these people can all go be genuine together somewhere.
