Loooks :yum: deeeeeeelicious.
but, how the heck are you going to slice that thing? |
You're not supposed to slice it. You've to look at it in awe.

"Whats with the makeup brush on the right in the final photo?" he asked, looking for new food tips and tricks.

Those chocolates that look like shells are SO good, too.
|
Ali, that's beautiful! And looks delicious, too. That's a wedding cake for friends, right?
|
It's my friends 40th birthday, so it's my present to her. She was going to do her own cake (as mothers usually do if they want one), so I had to stop that.
You slice it like any other cake Zen. lol and then you gobble it up and say yumm. :) Classic, the make up brush is there because when I sprinkled the 'sand' over the cake I had to brush it off the shells, firstly because it didn't look good, and secondly, because it wouldn't stick there anyway. (the sand was sugar with a bit of gold colouring mushed into it. I was pretty happy with how that bit turned out. It was the only thing I wasn't too sure of). Anyway, I get to present it to her tomorrow. I hope she's going to like it. |

She loves chocolate. She asked for mud cake, so all the rest was just a natural progression. :)

How did your friend like the cake ?
I made some brownies today, but they are ugly so I'm not posting them. :p |

My boys loved it so much we had to make one today for their lunches this week. It's much less fancy though. One layer with chocolate frosting and sprinkles. :) About the brownies...did they taste good? If so, who cares what they look like. :D |
Oh gosh those tacos look delightful. Haven't had tacos in ages!
|
Tacos with srs greens, interesting! The lettuce is more like filler in most tacos, this is a good way to go.
|
I eat tacos a lot. Sometimes more than once a day.
I put a flat griddle over two burners and fit 4 corn tortilla shells on it.. wait a few minutes until they start to curl up, then flip. Sprinkle with a little cheese, diced chicken or a few beans, a spoon full of hot salsa, couple drops of habenero sauce and a fat slice of avocado. When melty/crispy enough, remove from heat and fold around a handful of greens. They're so awesome... I think the ones pictured have some red pepper in there too... |
