Set-up agreed: Isn't there usually a trail of those suckers, not just one little conglomeration around a chip?

My problem is with the second to last and last pictures. How do those little ants get the chip to go from vertical to horizontal? Just seems suspect to me.

Wooooow, how cool! Ive heard alot about ants and have some in my garden but never seen them do that! I ve only seen them crawl in my Beercan and get out again drunk! And thats it, all day long! Maybe because theyr all Belgian ants? ;)

I once put a large Nightcrawler worm on a red ant hill, and they swarmed and worked all day until they made their hole big enough to drag him in.
