Irrespective of what you assumed from my post, I intended a little humorous camaraderie with SG, riffing on her "feel used" phrase. My post also still stands. Remember that old comic from The New Yorker: Two dogs are at a desk with a computer and one says to the other, "On the Internet, no one can tell you're a dog". A hip, a face, an ass... there is an overload of images on the net, and "knowing" a person, being shown something "intimate", "brave" or "personal" by way of a picture carries little currency *for me*. I find a person's words and actions, and more importantly, how consistent those words and actions are with each other, to be far, far more revealing than any image could ever be.
