According to Zen Buddhism, there are three conditions which must be met in order for something to 'exist':
1. The thing perceived
2. One who perceives
3. Consciousness

if any of the three is absent, nothing exists.

From the Emmei Juku Kannon Gyo:
(Kannon or Kanzeon, also Quan Yin, the bodhisattva of compassion)

Kanzeon! Salutation and veneration to the Buddha!
We are one with the Buddha
In cause and effect related to all Buddhas
and to Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha.

Our true nature is
Eternal, Joyous, Selfless and Pure.
Mornings, my thought is Kanzeon;
Evenings, my thought is Kanzeon.
Thought after thought arises in mind.
Thought after thought is not separate from mind.

It is more accurate to say I am therefore I think.

Maybe you just think you am.

I think that I think; therefore, I Am that I Am.

Wow, I've ascended to the next level!

So long, suckers.
