The trip is over, Corona is empty. Sigh.
It was a great week. I'll get into more detail once I get in front of a computer. posting from my phone is kind of a pain.

Also, I want to get the pictures Amanda took with her camera.

Great time with my hunny.

There's a casino on the first floor of our hotel, but it's lame. Only one$5 black jack table that is always full. A couple$10, a $25 table. I just can't gamble that much money I'm skeered.... and a handful of other table games like craps and roulette. .. but mostly it's slots.

Not on a par with AC. But whatever. .. it's still fun.

It looks like you guys had a great time. I cant wait to here more about it and see more pics!

After two days of exhaustively comparing the resorts and their reviews, I decide on the Intercontinental at Isla Verde. At first, I was trying to choose between La Concha and the Marriot where you stayed, but I think we are going to like the pool and beach more at the Intercontinental. Plus, it looks like it might have a more comfy room (a couch with a coffee table). Who knows, though, internet searching is sometimes a crapshoot. There were so may variables to juggle that I nearly pulled my hair out. I get really OCD about this...lol. I mean REALLY. Even though all I really want is a nice relaxing pool/beach with drinks vacation, it looks like I am not going to be able to resist a few outings. Old San Juan is a must and so is the rain forest. Im also thinking of doing the bio bay thing at night....there supposed to be very little moon when we are there.

hmm. that last lot came out blurry. I have high res copies... but they're huge. I'll see about resizing them at higher resolution later. I have more signs from the fort to post too. out of time right now....

I wish we had thought to rent a scooter when we were in old San Juan.

the coqui frog. We thought it was birds until the guy from the ATV tour told us about them. I recorded this on the street outside our hotel that night.

Those sound like birds.

lumberjim 08-26-2013 03:36 PM

Frogs. Little tiny ones.
