Well I just study alot I try not to let my problems get in the way of my school work. A lot of my friends with babies drop out or get their ged.Yes I am in a special program. Its calles PSAP. They help with insurance, day care, summer school, and drivers ed. They also help us with our personal problems. My daughter is with my mom during the day. I'm very grateful for that b/c if she was in day care I would be home all the time from her being sick.

After I had Justin (and had dropped out of my first senior year because I had to work to support me and Travis because he wouldn't work), I got a phone call from my high school. They were starting a program called SAVE and since I had dropped out the year before and I had a child, I was eligible.
I joined the program. It was really a great thing. The girls would bring their babies to school, and 3 women would be taking care of the babies in one of the two mods out back while the girls attended 1st through 4th period. Then it was lunch, and the girls came to take care of the babies during lunchtime and for the 2 periods after lunch, the women would teach the girls how to care for the babies, and be given parenting classes for an hour, then they got an hour of tutoring or study time. Then the bell would ring and everybody went home. Since Bobbie had Justin, I didn't have to take the parenting stuff, I got 2 hours of Study/Mentoring time. So my schedule was Accounting, Government, Teacher's Aid, Office Aid, Lunch, SAVE, SAVE. Yeah. I breezed through my second senior year. And because I was an office aide and teacher's aide, I didn't get expelled when I nearly killed that little bitch that per her hands on me in the second semester and never came back to school because she was hospitalized till after school was out. :) |

I was the one that was picked on and beat up and cowed by everyone and finally I had had enough. She was 5'4", I'm 6'1". I don't think she realized that when she started talking her shit, and by the time I got up it was too late for her to back down and save face, so she pushed me. I snapped. 12 years of repressed anger welled up and I blacked out. It wasn't pretty.

well i hope you've learned your lesson, young lady. always flip your shit immediately. it is unfair to take out 12 years of pent up rage on one individual (except for maybe dave)
now drop and give me twenty! |
Yeah, I learned my lesson, and I haven't been into a fist fight since. I'm actually kind of scared of it now. I mean I literally nearly killed her. It still chills me.
I "woke up" with Steve's arms wrapped around my waist, the footbal coach on my left arm, the basketball coach on my right arm, and I was sitting on her back, she was face down, and my fingers were tangled into her hair...I was beating her face into the concrete sidewalk with all of my strength and weight. I pulverized her face, fractured alot of bones, most of her teeth were cracked, broken or out, and I ripped out a chunk of hair. I'm extremely lucky I wasn't sued into oblivion, but everyone that was there said that she pushed me first, and I tried to get her to back down, but she kept instigating. That and most of the teachers knew me and vouched for my placid and easygoing character. So I was suspended but not expelled. |
whoooook!
the last fight i was in was at the beach on my 12th birthday i bitch slapped a 15 yr old, and he nearly drowned because the fight took place in the water....stupid then, my dad came close to fighting his dad! the kid started it so my dad wouldnt make me apologize for defending myself ever since then ive been big enough to intimidate or smart enough to avoid fights im about due...anyone wanna wrestle? cougar? |

Sad to say (is it?) I've never been in a fight, but I've been tangled up in the middle of brawls and had a few punches thrown at me. The most I've done is ... oh man, three of my friend's frat brothers were picking on some guy outside a bar late one night, and were damn near killing him. We split up the ordeal ... I had one in a headlock and slammed his head into a wall. Just a few cuts, nothing bad.

No, it's not sad to say. I'm not a violent person by nature, but this girl just...would NOT leave me alone about Justin and me being married, and is this guy (Steve) my husband and the rest of it, and I just LOST it. I don't advocate violence, but I tell my kids, as long as you don't instigate or start anything, you damn well better finish it when the other kids starts it.

I didn't really pay any attention to most of the thread, but:
What's wrong with getting a GED? Admittedly, I'm sort of biased; I've had mine for a few months, and am now chillin' at UO a few years ahead of the game. I suppose it helps that I can't get pregnant, but still. |
