Someone has probably posted this before. But I just can't help myself.

TheMercenary 01-04-2011 06:41 PM

No frigging deer. I know it late in the season but hell.....

We did see a herd of pigs we put out in the wild a while back and a single boar that most likely got kicked out of the herd when he went after the big boy for a place at the top.

monster 01-18-2011 03:41 PM

Someone making assumptions because they're an asshole. I really shouldn't be upset, what they did is very minor, but frankly they can just suck my dick.

TheMercenary 01-19-2011 12:09 PM

sexobon 01-19-2011 11:30 PM

Just watched "The Long Kiss Goodnight" again.

"When you make an assumption, you make and ass out of you and umption."

HungLikeJesus 01-20-2011 08:56 AM

That's a great movie - and very true.

You've got her beat hands down. And neck up.

Big Sarge 01-20-2011 12:17 PM

Merc - I've only killed one deer this season & that was just to put it down after it had been hit by a car. Nice 7 point, probably 3 years old.

Clodfobble 01-20-2011 03:56 PM

"Pissing" me off indeed... one of Minifobette's therapists thought it would be a fantastic idea to teach her how to take off her pants, in anticipation of her potty-training.

No, you dumb bitch, you potty-train her in anticipation of the day she can take off her own pants! Now I have to cinch her pants up with a tight belt just to keep her from pissing on the floor every 10 minutes.

zippyt 01-21-2011 08:18 PM

Just be glad you're not in Chicago. Current temp is 6F. I think we had a high of 9F. Lots of wind too, just to make things perfect.

Oh man. This is as cold as I ever want to be.

Juniper 01-22-2011 10:45 PM

"Discussion boards" that refuse to allow actual discussion.

There's a certain forum I visit that, from time to time, has a member -- usually a new person -- bring up something mildly controversial about the subject being "discussed." The topic is generally really interesting and could foster a deeper understanding, but oh no, the board moderators always get offended and shut it down saying the poster is being disrespectful.

Makes me crazy. But whatcha gonna do? You play in someone's sandbox, gotta play by their rules. :(

ZenGum 01-22-2011 11:06 PM

Kick sand in their faces.

Juniper 01-23-2011 12:01 AM

I'm trying! :)

footfootfoot 01-25-2011 11:31 AM

I am trying to be all "brick and mortar" support the mom and pop stores and all that shit. So i had my doc send my scrip to the local pharmacy instead of the big box pharmacy. So they fucked up my doc's ID number somehow and they think she is not covered under my insurance and they are too busy to figure out how to fix the problem right now but will get on it in a few hours. This is after me calling them yesterday and them saying they hadn't gotten it when my doc told me she had sent it to them.

Fucksticks.
It's not like taking it right now will make any difference (it takes 2 weeks to start working) it's just the principle of it all. I know I could send it to big box and they would not have this problem. The main thing I suspect is that this mom and pop operation is running on commodore 64 computers and dial-up-- if they even have a computer.

Isn't the point of the mom and pop store that you get more personalized customer service? Maybe this is the personalized customer service that one gets when they hate you.

Shawnee123 01-25-2011 11:34 AM

Hey foot, what scrip did you get? (You don't have to answer if you don't want.)

monster 01-25-2011 11:56 AM

my bloody nose.

Personalized doesn't necessarily mean accurate or high quality.

Shawnee123 01-25-2011 01:15 PM

No, personalized means personal. As in personal. It doesn't mean anything else but personal. So stop using that word even though we knew exactly what you meant. kthx.

footfootfoot 01-25-2011 01:37 PM

What word?

jimhelm 01-25-2011 01:37 PM

inconceivable!

footfootfoot 01-25-2011 01:39 PM

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Shawnee123 01-25-2011 01:39 PM

Personally I don't care which word you use. By that I mean I don't care in any way except that it's personal. I dont' mean my not caring is efficient or my lack of compassion is state of the art. It just means that, in a personal way, you can use whatever word suits you personally. Our word use is, well, it's personal.

footfootfoot 01-25-2011 01:47 PM

So do all transitive verbs piss you, personally, off? Myself, it's the intransitive ones. ;)

Shawnee123 01-25-2011 01:49 PM

ALL transitive verbs. I see NO reason why verbs have to dress like the opposite sex and traipse and sashay around the paragraph like they ain't got no shame. Hmmph. They's goin' to hell, you know, them transitives.

monster 01-25-2011 01:52 PM

it's a travesty

footfootfoot 01-25-2011 02:02 PM

Alls I know is that when I go to use my transitive verbs they better not have some of a subject, and they better not have most of a subject, They better have ALL of a subject.

Shawnee123 01-25-2011 02:04 PM

You're not being very objective.

monster 01-25-2011 02:16 PM

objection!

plthijinx 01-25-2011 02:30 PM

Excuse me, sir. Seeing as how the VP is such a VIP, shouldn't we keep the PC on the QT? 'Cause if it leaks to the VC he could end up MIA, and then we'd all be put on KP

monster 01-25-2011 02:38 PM

KP Nuts.

Griff 01-25-2011 08:25 PM

The cow-orker idjit I put in a box last year escaped today...

plthijinx 01-25-2011 08:44 PM

uh oh. should we break out the tranquilizer guns?

Griff 01-25-2011 09:02 PM

Don't give me any ideas.

Aliantha 02-23-2011 05:28 PM

I just spilled maggotty dog food water down my legs lifting the old dog food bin into the rubbish bin for collection today. A job my much stronger and taller son was supposed to do last night! He's got hell to pay when he gets home.

eta: it was the dogs dry food bin, and was about 20 yrs old (yes it's seen a few dogs come and go) and it had developed a small rust hole on the bottom and a layer of dry food had solidified on it, and on top of that, Max made off with the lid and we'll be buggered if we can find it. So anyway, we'd decided to replace it and Aden was supposed to dispose of it all a few days ago, but instead it got left out in the rain, so the flies got into all the slop and laid eggs, and then the sun has been blazing for the last couple of days, so the eggs have hatched. Hence, maggotty watery sloppy dog food. Fucking disgusting!

zippyt 02-23-2011 06:04 PM

Oh Jr done Messed UP !!!!

plthijinx 02-23-2011 06:10 PM

that is downright nasty! maggots are disgustingly creepy. i hope i never get bitten by a brown recluse spider cuz they use them to gnaw away the dead flesh. among other medical uses.

Aliantha 02-23-2011 06:54 PM

Oh it's about 20 miles past nasty! It was enough to make me barf!

plthijinx 02-23-2011 06:56 PM

i bet so. my gag reflex sucks. i know i;d be dry heaving like nothing else.

Aliantha 02-23-2011 07:01 PM

If my son is very lucky, it will pour down with rain before he gets home and that'll help clean up the mess.

plthijinx 02-23-2011 07:07 PM

nah, give him chop sticks and tell him to enjoy dinner! :vomit:

ZenGum 02-23-2011 11:13 PM

Yeuch!!!! Aden, you are in TROUBLE!

Pete Zicato 02-24-2011 09:10 AM

Blockage in the small intestine. Years of Crohn's disease has built up scar tissue. Even a small amount of roughage can cause a blockage.

Shawnee123 02-26-2011 01:20 PM

Shallow people with dubious (read: self-interested only) causes.

Oh, and pasty fat old white hillbilly men.

And gas prices.
