These give me a chuckle every day, Monster. Keep 'em coming.

monster 12-17-2008 11:23 PM

only 6 more times, hon....

SteveDallas 12-17-2008 11:35 PM

Note that the sleigh is clearly NOT taking off.

monster 12-17-2008 11:37 PM

perhaps you just need to believe a little more?

lumberjim 12-17-2008 11:46 PM

i like that one

this is a great thread monster. you do realize that we'll expect another next year, and every year there after?

zippyt 12-18-2008 12:07 AM

Good stuff Monnie !!

monster 12-18-2008 07:41 AM

hahaha ...I'll do what my parents did and recycle advent calendars. Only I have the advantage that i can change which pics are behind which window. Glad you like it, it's been fun to do :)

Tomorrow's is ready and raring to go.... but it's too early. it's probably hardly even tomorrow in Aus

The treadmill is flipping BRILLIANT. I'd love to show it to my first graders and make them cry.

You are absolutely right. Everyone knows that reindeer get their propulsion from their tiny little hooves. They don't push against the air like an airplane does.

Looks to me like the entire treadmill, sleigh, reindeer, and all, is flying through the sky like a weird Star Trek-ish ship heading for the stars. :p

Nay nay, all they have to do is push up, not forward. Once they're off the ground (treadmill), the magic dust kicks in and they fly. :D

Partially true. But you forget that they need to be going about 10 MPH before they can push up. It's a run and a jump, not just a jump.

lumberjim 12-18-2008 11:29 AM

This deserves a thread of it's own, methinks.

Griff 12-18-2008 09:47 PM

I think I'll be making a tree ornament out of that one.

I'm hurrying out to a partay, so thought I'd better open the door now in case I couldn't find it later, but in my haste I tore it a little.

Thanks Monster, I've been quietly laughing at this thread because the images are better than any comment I could make, but had to step into the light for this one. Brilliant.

xoxoxoBruce 12-22-2008 12:20 AM

Yeah, I really screwed the pooch with that one, but it did lead to some interesting posts.

Pooka 12-22-2008 06:32 PM

Someone could do their sociology/anthropology PhD thesis on Cellar in-jokes. Any takers?

DanaC 12-23-2008 04:01 PM

If I wasn't specialising in eighteenth-century history, I'd love to do a history of internet culture.

Elspode 12-23-2008 06:33 PM

I think there's a market for Goatse ornaments. Seriously.
