If the interface hadn't sucked so mightily I probably would have. You lose the ability to go back and change stuff as you move forward.

If I had ever written anything so useless back when I was still programming, I would have been fired.

I got fired six weeks ago. Supposedly I wasn't "communicative" enough. I didn't see how, but I hated that job anyway, so I had no will to fight it. Open plan office = hell on earth for me.

Well ...

I just got home from the second interview. I got a call last Friday evening (after 6p!) asking to come in to "see more people."

So I did.

I think I was confident and relaxed, got toured around the facility a little bit. It looks like a really cool place to work.

I'll let everybody know what happens.
