An international lunch today, kielbasa and Spanish rice.:yum:
|
Chicken, cauliflower, and either rice or potatoes
|
Nothing.
|
Piece of sirloin, green beans, sweet corn, Texas toast
:yum: |
Leftover sausage casserole, and because I was still hungry, some chili-tater tots.
|
Chicken, Rice, Lettuce. I was going to make a burrito-type bowl, but there's not enough rice. Tonight, I am going to saute up some peppers and onions to add and make it more filling

Lunch is chicken Ramen w/a pouch of Starkist Sweet & Spicy Tuna in it.
Tasty. |
Man - I would kill for some Ramen. I haven't had it in years. I used to cook it and dump out the broth and just eat the noodles
|
I am not fond of the chicken or shrimp, but that tuna. Yup thanks I'll look for that at Wally world.

That's because you can't tune a chicken or a shrimp but you can tuna fish.

Another thing I use to help the Ramen is a handful of bell peppers and onions. I get a bag of frozen peppers & onions a keep them in the freezer, toss them in when the water boils. Attachment 60411 |
[emoji1] Gravdigr you know all the tricks. I have to look for that in the frozen food aisle.

Ok I bought one of those square copper pans with the glass lid. One of my grands was at the house. She saw me start to prepare some cheap steak for a beef stew. I got out the Adolf's.
Whats that for pa pa? (children are so stupid ) I said I have to tenderize it this morning for this evenings beef stew. How about I show you how to do it in 30 minutes. Sure baby knock your socks off. She got the square pan and with no oil put the steak in the pan then the lid. Low heat for 30 minutes. Like a wrapped chuck steak in the oven only better. Never to late to learn something except what is the last thing to go in a beef stew shortly before serving? Asparagus tips. Mebbe the grands do know something I don't. Duh.
