It is not showing-up for some reason.

You're better off...people are brain dead.

You know, I'm pretty fond of most creatures that tend to produce phobias, like snakes and spiders and such. But for some reason centipedes really creep me out. I think it might the the way they move so fast, and they're really agressive. If I saw a centipede like the ones in the videos I would either be running or it would be dead on sight.

I searched hi and low in the Entertainment section for this thread. I SO didn't know it was in quality images:p

I think our posts being 'quality images' is questionable.

p'raps the wrenchers in the house would comment on the lack of fork angle and how that makes the bike respond like that, please?

xoxoxoBruce 07-04-2006 09:17 AM

It's probably a stunt bike unless the Germans build their bikes with a small angle neck. There is enough angle to have a "fall away" when raised off the floor and left to it's own devices, though.

Either way, she's really, really good. :D

I think you mean fork RAKE, which is the curvy bit at the end. Fork rake acts as a dampener somewhat, and it also increases the wheel base abit. Both things REDUCE response in handling, but confer a smoother ride.

A racing bike has less fork rake in order to give a better/faster handling response and also less dampening means more pedaling energy goes into forward motion.

I've seen a few straight forks, but usually on bmx or mountain bikes, the latter having shocks. I'm thinking having the center of the hub in line with the steering column (head tube) must give a direct response when turning rather than a lag. I'm not entirely sure about this last bit.

In any case, she has some angry skilz

Thanks!
