A remarkable last game, the Stones win.

Two semi-final matches lead to the final. It remains 6 votes to win.

Led Zeppelin - all - the - way.
iconic, musical lead vocalist, innovative guitar, genius bass/keys/strings/arrangements, and massive giant drummer. Come on.

Floyd has its points, innovations, angst but Zeppelin defines the genre and so much more.

lumberjim 04-26-2006 04:33 PM

well said, as usual.

It's gotta be Zep. Guitar sounds the way it does because of what they did to it.

DucksNuts 04-26-2006 05:33 PM

Some folks don't like that sound. That's all.

Give me Steve Howe and David Gilmour anyday.

Dark Side of the Moon was the defining album of 70's Rock. It was on the Billboard charts for 15 years. It's simply the best rock album ever.
