I was just thinking the same thing... I had the tape at one time but think that was one of the ones that got stolen out of my car back in the early nineties... I'd like to hear it again and may go off and look for it now...

@Stevonez: I think I've bought that CD at least three times in my life!

Thanks for explaining that... I saw it in another thread before I read this one and I assumed it had something to do with the French word for nose (nez).

Speaking of which, somebody plagarized my username on SoundChain. If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, then I guess I should take that as a compliment.

(To clarify: somebody registered as NosotrosFlintamos. I have subsequently created the Flint account.)

:right:

yeah... I saw that thread... that's when I decided I better make this user name over there when I had the chance...

Interestingly enough (well, that depends upon your interest in the info I suppose) son of the original Gibson still makes the guitars and lives near Hampton Court in the south east of England. A few years back, in between redundancies, I worked for a few weeks at the sharp end for a pal who ran a collect and deliver ironing service. Gibson was one of his regulars. Decent chap, real down to earth sort - one of the nicer customers...:bass:

Music manufacturer trivia: although modern cymbals are refered to as Turkish style cymbals, largely because of the old Zildjan Turkish K-Series cymbals popularized by jazz artists, the Zildjan family is actually Armenian. The Zildjan family moved to Americas as candy makers, but the Zildjan cymbal making tradition, which goes back almost 400 years, was brought back right in time for the explosion of the jazz scene, they pushed each other along. Also, regarding Armenia, the band System Of A Down is from there.

I now own five guitars... haven't willed myself to spend the money for a gibson but this was my latest purchase from Musicians Friend... it's a nice guitar and one of only so many made...

I'm buying a house with a 750 square foot detached garage, which I will sound-insulate, install a window unit A/C, and use as my drum paradise. I have mountains of drum and percussion junk, and several complete kits. I just bought this snare drum http://www.rockinn.co.jp/shopping/dr...arl_sf1465.jpg and a hydraulic drum throne.

Surely, somewhere in the vast abyss that is the internet, there is a home more appropriate for some of the AG dwellers.

To put it crudely, some seem to take too much delight in making a complete ass of themselves...oh, well it seems joscher was banned, so no more story there.

I like it when new people come along and make a positive contribution that leads to the growth of this board.

I hate it when new people come along thinking that they are going to be god's gift to this board and fall woefully short of their ambitions.

I'm still taking a wait and see attitude.
