We appreciate your gift of U2 to the world

We expect however that not all Irish are as full of themselves as Bono. It would make for a difficult country.

One of my cow orkers friend's father's sells him fish.

And refuses to sell to Gordon Ramsay.

Those are probably my most interesting degrees of separation.

Oh good, HLJ and Merc said something before me!
I said something similar on the Canada thread.
Said with absolutely the best intentions - and no malice meant.

Bruce, the New World grew the potato, but it took the British Isles to really bring it out of its skin... er, shell. If it weren't for us. people would still be trying to smoke it ;)

I'm irish though...on both sides.

I think the reason you don't see them is because the Irish are too fucking cheap or poor to buy computers.

I'm also Irish on both sides, and you may have had a point a few years ago, but in the last 5-6 years the economy in Ireland has taken off. They have a lot of high tech jobs. A lot of call center stuff from America goes there.

They're working, or at the pub for the most part. It used to be that half of Ireland was on the dole and the other half was working to pay for it.

I'm no Dan Quayle but the word "Potatoes" has a letter E. Plural has a letter E, singular does not.

Trilby 02-19-2009 01:45 PM
