I'm not acting like an idiot.

(insert a few paragraphs about how wrong you are)

Next time you make a statement, get your facts straight.

So "facts" never enter into it, do they?

Shawnee123 11-04-2009 08:21 AM

No, I'm 10.500.

i only use the word idiot, when the person i'm speaking to is being an idiot.
radar, was being stupid, so i didn't use the word idiot, i used the word stupid.

idiot.

Any team in the majors would sign him merely for the fact that he'll put asses in seats, he's a great leader, he is one of the best players in the league, he's got class, character, and he's an all around winner. They may have him in a position other than short stop, or they might move another player and have Jeter groom someone else to be the kind of leader and winner that he is.

Griff 11-04-2009 08:50 PM

... and Jeter scores.

Griff 11-04-2009 08:58 PM

There goes Tokyo.

lumberjim 11-04-2009 08:59 PM

at least it will be over....

It sure has been fun riding on this 36 year bandwagon. It's nice to support a team that has been in 46% of all World Series since 1923, and won 31% of them.

The Yanks did a great job of breaking in the new stadium with a World Series ring. The way the players were talking about Steinbrenner, I'm wondering if he should be on my next death pool list.

classicman 11-05-2009 01:30 PM

You'd be on mine, if you were somebody. :)

Radar 11-14-2009 10:43 AM

I am somebody. I'm just not somebody who is a celebrity. I hope I don't die next year. I'd like to stick around long enough to see my daughter grow up, go to college, and turn into a strong, intelligent, independent, and happy woman.
