Datalyss used to go by the name Drax; which is why people sometimes still refer to him as draxxie. He comes and goes. At some point something someone says will hit a nerve and he'll go again. For a while. Then he'll come back. It's a bit like having a teenager in the house. Y'know he's there because of the thump of death metal coming from under the bedroom door, and every so often he tells you he hates you and slams out the house.

:P

I use to go by the name of B.O.B., now it is just Merc.

I don't know why I can't keep things straight.

(That's odd, Clod never has a second cup of uterus at home...)

I am male. I have no uteri.

Surely you've visited a couple.

There is no I in team and uterus, or there's two types of uter; us and them.

My uterus hurts. Frequently and right now.

Hertz. :lol2:

Urbane Guerrilla 03-09-2010 01:38 AM

But is that mathematically right? Doesn't Time = 1/freq give wavelength, not Hertz? f = 1/T might have been more mathematically virtuous.

Pie 03-09-2010 11:32 AM

wavelength is in meters (or feet, if you're old-fashioned).

Period (seconds/cycle) = 1/freq (cycles/second), this is true.

Wavelength (meters/cycle) = c (speed of light, meters/second) / frequency (cycles/second)

The units for (cycles/second) is Hertz.
