Yeah, like the cop told him, 4wd means you can go it doesn't mean you can stop.

Holy crap! I bet that was scary. I'm glad everyone is OK, but I'm sorry for your Jeep. (Or I'm not sorry for your Jeep...j/k) I am sorry it happened. Fuck. Accidents just suck.

I had a little one during our last ice storm. As I tried to make a left turn, my car kept going straight and my wheel hit the curb flat side...hard. Ended up costing me nearly $1000. I declined not to go the insurance route.

At least with yours, the other guys insurance pays up. That is a bright side.

classicman 02-06-2010 08:19 PM

So sorry Jinx, but so glad all are ok. That's the important thing. the car can be fixed/replaced.

jinx 02-06-2010 08:59 PM

No way that guy even tried to stop. Look how far into a snow/mud bank he has pushed my 6000lb jeep. We're way off the other side of the road there.

Oooops, did you forget to bring Grampa in from his chair in the garden?

DanaC 02-07-2010 07:46 AM

You've got a bit of white on your chair there.

I actually enjoy shoveling when the snow is light. But now I never want to leave the spot. It won't be available when I get back.

These guys haven't dug out yet.

The snow was much deeper at my parents' place. Notice anything odd?

I forgot how much that sucks. As much as I hated shoveling my driveway, at least nobody else will park in it.

HM, Im looking and looking....

glatt 02-07-2010 03:58 PM

look at the clothes line. If you click on the link and look at the original size, you'll see it.

Happy Monkey 02-07-2010 03:58 PM

I wonder why "snow" was yellow. I didn't pee on it intentionally.

Happy Monkey 02-07-2010 04:01 PM

Right. The snow accumulated on the clothesline. Apparently it was on all of the lines, but it fell off by the time my mom got my camera.

The table and benches were pretty sculptural, as well.
