I wuz born in Goldbug, Kentucky. Ma grandpappy and grandmammy bougt theyselves a farm down in the bluegrass country. Hit wuz a tabaccy farm and they done real good for theyselves. Put everyone of their 6 chillen of which my daddy wuz one thru the universitee of Kentucky up thar in Lexington. Got me a scholarship to the place ma'self. ;)

See I always thought those awful singers were for folks pretending to be rural while living in suburbia. Frightening note, my 7 y.o. niece went to a Toby Keith concert this summer. :eek: Seriously, he is the all-time absolute worst. Get yourself a couple nice Earl Monroe or Hank senior discs if you must listen to country music, otherwise, move on.
