Well hell, that's not actual size either, HLJ. Is your eye calibrated? Are you using "man-inches?"

I had my lens on backward.

The picture was reflected off of a space mirror.

I have very tiny feet.

Man-inches?

Don't worry, Labrat's ass is so hot it could start it's own fire. You can't burn something that hot.

Let me put it this way: I have an idea for a restaurant. It's like Hooters only all the servers are men in g-strings. It's called Boners. The specialty is a foot long hot dog, but when it's served it's really only 3-4 inches. ;)

Is that one of those acronyms from the singles section?

Oh, no. Those are grey silk.

The stupid thing was that I was touring a sawmill/plywood plant and powerplant in dress clothes and carrying my good camera. Everything was full of sawdust when I was finished. Everything. I can still taste it.

I might start a new thread in Quality Images called Industrial photos, if anyone else is interested.

So I was right: SWF with FMPs seeks SWM with FMWs.

Shawnee123 08-25-2007 10:50 AM

Perfect!

It is a close cropped close up of the right rear limb of a monitor lizard.

Pic 01 -- uncropped close up

Pic 02 -- wider shot of the whole animal

Shawnee123 08-29-2007 03:28 PM

glatt 08-29-2007 03:50 PM

2 Attachment(s)
Yeah! Shawnee! See, it's not so hard.

Except it's really a dog's anus. No. Wait. It's a hot air balloon.

It's a dog's anus and a hot air balloon!

Shawnee123 08-29-2007 03:53 PM

omg that is way too funny!

Now, were they trying to simulate a dog's anus, or is that just the way the balloon design worked out?

glatt 08-29-2007 03:55 PM

I think they did it on purpose, but did it in a way so that they could say with a straight face that is was just the way it came out.

Shawnee123 08-29-2007 03:56 PM

lol, i like these balloon makers already!

They needed something for the other balloon dogs to sniff.

BigV 08-30-2007 11:19 AM

Funny-er would be to rig a line on the inside to where the center point is to control a vent where the sewed shut circle is so it could be controlled from the gondola.

Sniff this!

No lighting them though. Bad dog!

This is a collection of ... ?

sorry for crappy cameraphone pic. This *is* the good pic, no better one exists, but I could return to the scene of the crime with a better camera, if required.

Flint 09-04-2007 10:38 AM

My first thought was that they look like the probes from an ultrasound machine, and I'll keep my next thought to myself.

BigV 09-04-2007 10:41 AM

Nope. Here's a clue: they're related to the previous picture.

zippyt 09-04-2007 10:43 AM

Light bulbs ????

Flint 09-04-2007 10:44 AM

Related to...a balloon...or a dog's ass? They go up your ass? They pump radiation into your prostate gland?

BigV 09-04-2007 11:18 AM

I'm giving you a clue, dammit, not the friggin answer.

I leave the rest as an exercise for the student.

No, not light bulbs.

glatt 09-04-2007 11:23 AM

Those are the anal probes the Alpha Centaurians use when they study the natives.

omg. it's the fourth sign of the apocalypse. glatt missed. we're doomed.

Clodfobble 09-04-2007 12:05 PM

Artificial inseminators for dog-breeding?

Flint 09-04-2007 12:06 PM

I was also thinking they might be something for horny bitches.

BigV 09-04-2007 12:09 PM

nope nope

Flint 09-04-2007 12:17 PM

They certainly look like medical devices. Although they could be ceramic. Which would be an insulator, or something to conduct heat. We're assuming they go inside something, but maybe they don't. Maybe they heat up and are used to shape the outside of another object. A sculpting tool of some kind. Or... they are decorative ceramic handles, knobs, or pulleys for vintage furniture, or appliances.

wolf 09-04-2007 12:25 PM

Heat sealer probes for the balloon seams, perhaps? Or hot "knives" for working with nylon?

jester 09-04-2007 12:27 PM

maybe some type of "valve stem"?

BigV 09-04-2007 12:36 PM

You're all warm-ish. I feel certain you'll never guess the actual purpose of these objects. I'll give a couple more clues. They are ceramic. They are a set. They are functional, not decorative. Not medical.

Spexxvet 09-04-2007 12:45 PM

Utensils to help make balloon animals?

BigV 09-04-2007 12:57 PM

We have a Bingo! Congratulations Spexxvet, you're a winner!

I am surprised, though I shouldn't be, having experienced the collective and eclectic wisdom down here in the cellar.

These are latex balloon molds. You dip them into the liquid latex and when the rubber has cured, peel the balloon off. Now you'll probably recognize some of the shapes, no?

Nice work Spexxvet!

Flint 09-04-2007 12:58 PM

Ah... the classic hot-dog bun, chess piece, and anal beads.

One is obviously the orange juicer balloon. I wanna know what the one dead center is - it's split in two at the top.

BigV 09-04-2007 01:25 PM

Bunny ears? Mickey Mouse?
