Looks like a possum to me.

Aussie Brushtail Possum, ours don't have hairy tails.

Ali, call and tell him that he has a wild animal in his house.

There are lots of different types of possums over here, but they all have hair on their tails although some are shorter than others.

I think ours are a bit cuter than the ones you get over your way although they're still not too friendly if they're wild - contrary to popular misconceptions...usually those of Japanese tourists.
