I spend most of my online time there nowdays. Yes, I know, it's not nearly as exciting as the cellar, but that's where my mind is nowdays.

My network of professional contacts is not large at this time but my general rule for inviting and accepting is limited people that I've worked with or at spent time with in person. That would include many of the people here, regardless of their political leanings. You may be surprised how reasonable I am without the left-right firestorms .

I'm hoping to connect with more people NOT like me, that would be a white American guy in the mechanical engineering services industry.

We're doing great, thanks slang. I think it is probably high time I posted some more Carrot pics. Poor lad has been sadly neglected (by me - he has been spoiled rotten by mum) these past few weeks as I have been too busy to play or give much attention. i think he was beginning to wonder whose dog he was :p

This last week though has been a glorious week of rest, recuperation and playtime. With looong walks.

I miss Gravdigr, and wish that he would come back.

Hello! I've been sort of busy since I saw you guys last. Dad got cancer and died, I lost my job, was unemployed for 2 years other than occasional freelance work. Got another job.

Quit the metal band, joined a country band, quit the country band, joined another rock band that's less metal.

I've quit smoking 3 times, once for 2 years.

I'm 45 now, which is weird.

Can't think of much else. I just have to remember to log in and visit with you guys. I'm FB friends with Ed, so I see pics of him pop up occasionally, but otherwise, I'm cellar-less.

It's really awesome to see how this place has kept its look and feel (and so many users) all this time.

Hey Choco! How's the baby?

Beans is now 1,013 days old - not that anyone is keeping track. :) She'll be turning 3 this August. The years go quick but the days are long right now - she is very inquisitive and talkative. Trying to post a picture here but my browser keeps crashing.

Other goings on include Beans' first trips to Disney World, our 7th wedding anniversary, the closing of my baking business and meeting Neil Gaiman in February.
