Well, the linked article went down somewhat after the wedding. All I know about it was: they shipped the sword ahead of time; there was a note from customs inside the package note that it had been inspected. Apparently they couldn't find a legal reason to prohibit it. Since it was probably accompanied by some piece of medivial garb they may have inferred that it was for a theatrical production, which I suppose in one sense it was. There's no shortage of reenactors in the UK either; I understand that's how Robin and Sean met.

OK, so for the whatever anniversary, reenactment of the wedding, they'll have to use a different country. :lol:

If it isn't here in the US, they'll have to find different funding, too. The site in Wales was a concession to the needs of the groom's parents. But unless I become suddenly rich in some unexpected way... :-)
