If you go to the pictures, it's clear that Google drove up their driveway/private road and turned around right in front of their garages and next to their swimming pool. Google was trespassing to get those particular pictures. The driver was probably lost, and it was probably an honest mistake to take the pictures, but posting them crossed a line.
