I was naughty.
I've pretended being in my brother's house today is like being on holiday.
I have a cheese & spring onion mix baguette (which comes with a free KitKat) in his fridge.
And a four pack of Stella.

Once his sofa has arrived I am going food shopping (and bill paying) and buying a white bra and a white top for my birthday. I've already earmarked the top - in a closing down sale - I hope they've not sold out! And my two existing white bras are too big and too small respectively. In fact if the particular top I want is sold out in the sale I will wear the one I have already, albeit with a new bra. I haven't been able to wear it for months so I guess it counts as new and saves me £4.00.

I want to get Diz some decent catfood as well. His fallback has recently been Whiskas and I really dislike all the additives. Am going back to Applaws:

Quote:

You'll see the difference the minute you open the can: the natural consistency will convince you, and your cats will love it!

The most important product features at a glance:

9 different flavours
No artificial colours, flavours, or preservatives
Gluten-free and no vitamin additives
75 % meat content
Hormone-free and natural-fed chicken, dolphin-friendly sea-caught fish

but will kitty eat it?

Sundae 06-21-2010 03:41 PM

Oh aye - he loves the Applaws.
And yet sometimes he turns his nose up at fresh chicken.

Meh, this is the same cat brain that thinks it is a good idea to wake me up at 04.20 to shove his paws under my chin. And when I protest, to put a claws out paw on my forehead.

Hello? Can we say kicked out of bed?
He'll try it again before the end of the week though.

yesterday I went grocery shopping. I bought approx 40 1lb boxes of pasta, 6 dozen cans of diet coke, 60 beers and a few other things.

Cloud 06-23-2010 10:40 AM

40 pounds of pasta? wowee!

Clodfobble 06-23-2010 01:13 PM

Monster, you take stocking up to a whole new level. I'm impressed.

I have three swimmers, favorite food pasta -lots of it and twice a day, if they had their druthers.. I always shop this way. That's about two month's supply, hopefully by the time it starts to run low, there will be as good a sale again (50c/box). I just shoved 6 boxes of every type we like into my cart. I speed shop too. I was in and out of each of the two stores I went to in 25 minutes.

Today I bought raspberries, hash browns in the grocery store
buckets, stickers, dustpan and brush and wrapping paper in the dollar store
magnets, iron on letters and water bombs in the craft store
shorts, cereal, tupperware, a toy, detergent, softener, cookertop scrubbers, oil, rice, t-shirt, clocks, batteries, paper, envelopes and proab;y something else in walmart
lego and bike lights in toysRus

monster 06-23-2010 08:25 PM

...and i guess if I don't hit the basement soon, I could "buy the big one"! ;)

Cloud 06-23-2010 08:52 PM
