Agreed. But those "Virginia is for lovers" stickers peaked in the early 80's I think. It was a different time. People still had the 70's mindset. I haven't seen one in ages.

The television ad campaign revolving around that slogan still played in Texas just a few years ago.

glatt 06-10-2004 02:37 PM

Well, as someone living in Virginia, I apologize that you had to watch that.

How about those "New Jersey and you. Perfect together." ads? They were almost as bad. Don't see them much anymore.

Back to the stickers. Actually we still have that system in Europe an L doesn't stant for Loser but Luxembourg. So watch out Jim...
And yes, now they have a little European flag on the licence-plate and in the middle the abreviation of your country. And yes the licence plates are quite different in very country : red on white, black on yellow, black on white, white on black, seem the most common colors...
And the French and Germans have a system where they pay their car taxes so you can tell by seeing the plate where they come from (France has numbers (01-95 + some special and Germany has a combination of different letters)...

I created the L sticker for a friend that ( and I'm sure glatt and beestie will love this) wanted to have an OBX sticker on her jeep even though she had never been there. i made the L because it was funnier than "P" for Poser.

Pi 06-10-2004 04:23 PM

Yeah shure because P is for Portugal and that's really crap ;)

Cool looking vacation spot Jinx , one problem , in the listing it says no pets , what are you going to do with Jim while you and the kids are at the beach ????

lumberjim 06-10-2004 10:20 PM

i'm more of a mascot, and therefore allowable

wolf 06-11-2004 12:42 AM

Jim, you should be very glad that we really, really like Jinx and therefore will not be fucking with your vacation plans ... say moving them back a week or upgrading you to a much more expensive cottage.

wolf, i don't know why you have such a hard time admitting that you love me. would it be easier if i said it first?...

wolf, i love you. you are a beautiful person. you have great worth. ok. your turn.

wolf 06-11-2004 10:12 AM

<strike>wolf</strike> ljim, i love you. you are a beautiful person. you have great worth.

oh gods. I feel so dirty.

Is it considered bad ettiquette to kill the sensitivity trainer before the session starts and then not go back to work, since they'd already scheduled you the time off?

Just hypothetically.

I was wondering.
