I think this one would be the better pic, if it weren't for that damn tube gate on the barn.

I never knew tube gates were a thing that some people hate.

If I needed one, I'm sure I would greatly appreciate a tube gate. I know they have their place, just not in mah pikshur.

Aluminum. Melts/cools quickly for demo purposes... Notice they aren't using the actual iron furnace (giant stone thing in background) either.

That is real pig iron in the ground, but they just put it there as a prop.

Jinx. Great shots. Anvil Mike had a friend who worked at a foundry, in Fl. He made mike a few castings.
