You'd have to convince me that the ocean is robbing itself of potential benefit by eroding land and housing fish. People are counterproductive in this regard because....

If you're the religious type, then I think it said in the bible that God created Man in his own image, which I translate to mean that man can create other things from the earth, if he wishes, even if it isn't biodegradable like diapers.
When God gave man dominion over the earth, it meant we were supposed to be the stewards of a gift. We were given a box of Godiva chocolates and instead of enjoying them properly, we're putting nacho cheese sauce on em and feeding them to the dog.

And don't back down, noodle. I think your original posts were spot on.

Yeah, it's like good and evil. Everyone has there own perception as to what each is but few agree with someone elses list of each.

That's your take on it. If the chocolates don't come with instructions then I'm free to do what I wish with them.

Of course, the chocolate poisons the dog, to continue the metaphor.

Actually chocolate doesn't kill the dog, it's the cocoa in it that's deadly to dogs. But he did say Godiva, which has a high cocoa content so....yeah, you're right, Monkey.:)

If there is a repository of picked nits somewhere in the world, the cellar.org section must be impressive indeed. Can't say it isn't hilarious reading though.

The picked nits are with the other socks.

Hello, folks....interesting place you have here.

So, what means the most to YOU? If one day, you just decided that you couldn't take it one minute more, and considered biting the big one, what is the single thing that would stop you from doing that?

Been there, done that. Just one word: Sycamore. :joylove: I know that may sound cheesy to some, but Syc keeps me from losing it (although sometimes he causes me to lose it...lol!).

But seriously, I've had my share of bad days, and thinking of Syc and what we share makes things better.

Sigh. Me too.:joylove:
