"Perfect result"... um, kind of. I saw a fair number of yucky bits still in the acceptable bin.
|
What you think are yucky bits by sight the machine has determined are within the acceptable range for squeezing juice.
How dare you question Zorg, human.:eyebrow: Security! Security! :haha: |

Man. I hate when that happens.

I love it...

:D Well done.

I'm not sure we (us) can handle there not being a them.
|
Yeah - it's nice to be reminded though, from time to time that they are in fact us and we them.

Stay safe ( watch it all the way to the end !!!!)

Maybe a little opera to give the thread some class.

Hey South America, did you hear, North America caught Europitis. :eek3:

Bob Ross once did a painting in shades of gray for a single colorblind fan. For whatever reason, I find that awesome.
|
Yes he was quite a guy. The only thing that seemed to make him unhappy was his hair. As a starving artist he got it permed to save money. When he became a recognized public figure people identified him with the hair and he was stuck with it.
I don't remember if I mentioned it before but I have half a dozen unsigned paintings, 9" x 18", on cheap gray shirt cardboard, in the Bob Ross style. My family bought them for $5 each, from a guy outside the Piggy Wiggly in Anchorage, AK, during the early '50s. Bob Ross was stationed at Elmendorf AFB in Anchorage at that time. Makes me wonder if it was him or the guy who taught him the style? |
How does perming one's hair save money? Compared to what?
|
I thought he was retired from the Air Force.
|
Perming avoids haircuts every 10 days to two weeks when you're trying to impress people and break into show biz.
|
Wow. Mr. Clod gets one every six weeks and it always seemed a little excessive to me. 10 days is insane.
|
2-3 months between haircuts for me.
If you have a short haircut style, then any growth is more noticeable. The longer the hair, the less noticeable growth is. |
The demands of the camera are constant. I used to go every couple of months when I had hair. Now I go once a month to keep from chewing my beard. I could trim that myself but she has three kids to support... and great cleavage.

"Rapid unscheduled disassembly", many times.
Turn up the volume and put it on the biggest screen and enjoy! |
"Rapid unscheduled disassembly"...I've done that with lunch a few times.

At first I thought it was a parade, but then they were alone.

Trying to figure out what the wheels are for...

Does it use a rudder to steer? I didn't see any. If not, there is a tremendous amount of leverage force against that train car that ties it to the tracks.
Presumably this would also travel to cities. Does it clear obstacles like buildings and overpasses with enough distance that the wind from the props doesn't damage other property? I don't see what this craft gives you that a train doesn't already provide. It's wide instead of long and skinny, but that's about it. |
I think it's a Russian pipe dream like this one...

That's true but whoever made the video evidently thought they were necessary, so I wonder what they were thinking.

Seeing the way they build these new high tech pinball machines reminds me of Boeing. Wire sub-harnesses built and tested on boards, sub-assembly build and test, many similar methods.

Beware of the Alt Left.

You can watch Ken Block's whole 9 minute run up Pikes Peak, or check out some especially butt clenching moments between 5 and 6 minutes.
Of course bigger be better. |
Googly eyes.

Idk how to post an Instagram vid, so here:
Rubber fist meets rubber face. An incredibly life-like rubber face. I mean, look at it.:3_eyes: |
EEK!!! How about nightmare fuel next time. After contact just looks creepy.

It's a little skeevy ain't it?:yesnod:

20 seconds of crazy...
|
Ok, I wasn't expecting that.

How good are you at marking the passage of time? Three people had the chance to win 10 grand by pressing a button one hour from the start time. In isolation booths.
Most interesting were the techniques they used. |
My 2nd wife was amazing, we'd be driving cross country for hours listening to tapes with no clock, and she knew what time it was within 5 minutes all the time.

This Russian repairs the BMW in 15 days, plus another 12 days to paint. I think the 12 days includes reassembly of the painted parts.

Man, I could have used one of these...

That's slick. I could put one to good use.

Good old Matthias Wandel. I've been occasionally singing his praises here for a decade or more. He even designed my bandsaw. Did you hear about my bandsaw?
He's gained a decent following on YouTube and I'm happy for him. He's had videos in the past dealing, with a mouse problem he has in a shed in the country. But this video is a fun one, where he does experiments on how small a hole those mice can get through. Make sure you have the sound on, because he has fun with sound effects. |
